Ports
Dark berries, dried fruit, chocolate, nuts and oak on the nose. Concentrated and light warm. Delicate and nuanced wine. Full bodied, with good length. Firm and integrated tannins. Drink well now, but will also store well.
Dark berries, dried and jammed, spiced with pepper and chocolate as well as a slight touch of coffee, red berries and fruits. Full bodied with a good balance of ripe tannins, sweetness and acidity. The very long finish mirrors the complete summer and ripeness of the grapes.
It' a very fine Organic Reserve Port. The taste is deep, I love this taste. It has a creamy smooth texture which lingers in the mouth. You can try it without risk
Flavours: dried fruit, oak, aging Medium amber colour. Medium+ on the nose. Aromas of nutmeg, toffee, dried apricot, cinnamon, almond, marzipan. Sweet. High acidity, full body. Medium+ on the palate.
Nice, smooth easy drinking port. Sweetness and acidity and good balance; taste of cherries with slight sourness
Very perfumed of honey, tar and burn orange color in the glass and a high intensity. On the palate cherry and nutty flavors. Still nice acidity and very long aftertaste
Caramel, toasted honey, white chocolate, almond, walnut, pistacho, toffee, pungent on the nose. Well balanced alcohol upholding the natural sweetness of the wine. This is balanced with a coffee bitterness of the long and juicy finish.
Deep magenta, opaque. Warm bramble fruit on the nose, restrained but ripe and attractive. Restrained fruit at first, but ripe fruit and tannins grow in perfect balance on the mid-palate. Air releases more tannin and more fruit. Big palate
Sherry
Caramel, vanilla, roasted nuts and prune on the nose. Roasted almond, caramel and roasted prune with a hint of marinated fig on the palate. Nice sweetness
Beautiful fino sherry, so very dry and undeniably clean, it works on many levels. We worked it on the dessert level a few nights ago, with much success. Cheers!
Delicious, exotic liquid fruit, immediate flavours of sultanas and raisins mingled with figs. Wonderful by itself as an after dinner drink, with rich desserts or on ice cream.
A lovely, light Manzanilla from Valdespino. Pale straw colour. Green apple aroma, with sea breeze and almonds. The palate is nutty, salty and pungent, very dry, with medium + acidity
Hazelnut and almond, citrus slight oxidative and figs in the nose. On the palate: low but pleasant acidity. Slight caramel notes. Figs and hazelnut. Great Amontillado!
Medium brown, nose Medium intensity with aromas are of almond, hazelnut, raisin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and caramel. The wine is dry with medium acidity, high alcohol, and medium body.
Fino is the driest form of sherry and a good one such as this has a searing acidity beautifully balanced by yeasty saltiness. There is bruised apples and smoked almonds on the nose and a savoury saline bite on the palate
Duke of Clarence is a sweet style of Madeira - perfect served chilled with caramel, nutty or chocolate desserts and cheeses. Aged an average of 3 years.
Dark red in colour, with a fresh vibrant aroma of dark fruits which follows through on the palate along with a mineral character, a youthful wine with good extract and great balance, offering superb drinkability.
