Mandrarossa is the clear and genuine expression of Sicily's new face in wine growing. Frappato comes from “fruttato” (fruity), one of the main features of this sicilian variety. This Cahor is near black in colour and has flavours of black plum and chocolate throughout. This densely tannic wine is fruity with a level of acidity and strong wood-spice flavors.

Catena Alta Malbec shows a saturated dark violet color. The nose offers freshly ground, ripe berry fruits with layers of wild flowers, mocha and tobacco. An intense ruby red in color, the nose of the wine is characterized by aromas of cherries, with the supplementary notes of violets, characteristic of Sangiovese along with spice and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is savory and balanced with the crisp acidity of this variety and sweet flavors. The tannins are rather supple and the finish and aftertaste show the fruit and spice which develop during the aging period. On the whole, the wine is long and pleasurable.
Three plots up this thought, all located on the plateau of scrubland north of Vacqueyras. Unlike other wines, grape varieties half grenache, also gives pride to Syrah and Mourvèdre for the game. These allow to avoid the feeling of heaviness and sweetness that unfortunately sometimes accompany the wine of such volume and density in the mouth.

This 2009 vintage was excellent - a fine example of benchmark Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with mulberry and red fruits, dusty tannins and subtle oak. Hand picked grapes from 80 year old dry grown vines were used to craft this estate grown wine which was matured in French oak barriques for 24 months. An elegant style, with fine acid and longevity in the bottle.

In the mouth it is smooth and balanced with a strong but never intrusive tannin. Long last finish. Very good with roasts and ripe cheese.

This classic Borolo has aromas of tar, roses, raspberries and licorice, alive and fresh and with excellent balance on the palate and firm tannins presents a dark fruit profile with black cherry and cassis. The wine evolves slowly in the glass to reveal tarry notes of licorice and light spice. Its delineated and focused approach is reinforced by its streamlined mouthfeel and delicate complexity.
The nose distinguishes fruity notes marked quite original exotic type but also bitter almonds due to livestock which of course is not yet melted .. The palate is warm, round and fresh, in short, a nice balance! A final "pastry", buttery, with hints of pepper and spices. For now he must "digest" its a little wood ... A wait at least 2 years.

A Bordeaux Blend using the classic varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. These vines were planted on carefully selected sites and took 9 years to reach maturity. The grapes were fermented whole with native yeasts and left for 5 weeks on their skins. The wine was then barrel aged for two years followed by four years of bottle maturation. This wine, rich, classic and complex, truly is a work of time. It will age well for up to 10 years.
